This is the center pier after the workers finished removing the blocks of sandstone. It looks very good inside and out to me. As you can see they only removed the top layers. I believe we are now waiting on the new blocks to be cut. If that is the case it will be spring before we see any more action around the abutments. Water is used while the cutting is done and they don't want the equipment to freeze up. I will find out this week for sure and let you know. Also, this week we are haveing a meeting with Joel McCarty from the Timber Framers. Hopefully we will get the construction details ironed out and a date set.
