Rebuilding the Bridgeton Covered Bridge
The second photo is ..... OH ..... That is me with my new grandson, Jacob Allen Roe. He was born about 2 weeks early because he wanted to suprise me on my birthday! I think he will like horses that go fast.

The third photo is Horace Hockey ridding past the old mill. He (Bret Erwood) came up with the idea of an Old West Fest and spent a lot of time calling his friends and anyone else he could think of to make it a success. Some other folks jumped in and helped with the planning and calling.
We had Spinner and Weavers, Single Action Shooters Society, Horse Tricks, Mustang Demo (No - not the car), a Chuckwagon, Singing Cowboy, Native American Educational Activities, A Parade, Costume Contest for the Kids, Raffle Drawing, Gold Panning Demos, A Covered Wagon, A Stage Coach, Bull Whip Demos and .... probably some stuff I forgot. This years Old West Fest is scheduled for June 3 - 4. We already have more folks that want to participate so it looks like this years fest will be even bigger and better than last years.
The weekend brought in a little over $2000.00 for the bridge. Thanks to eveyone that participated.
